Ok, so i haven’t blogged in a while and most of the time i end up with some story going on that makes you pull out the kleenex. Cuz hey, there’s a lot of cool stuff going on. If you are new here. I’d love for you to go back and read everything so you can get caught up with what this site is about.
But meanwhile…i saw something that just made me laugh and i think i figured out how to embed it in here so….watch and laugh. BTW it’s a lady named Gladys talking to Ellen. watch the whole thing.
Sorry about the video stuff below the main screen….i don’t know how to not have that there.

Sorry it has been a while since i have written. Have you ever noticed how much time life takes up?
As for the comments on the preachers, i got a bunch but as promised only published the comments of those of you who were positive.
If you want me to publsih yours and it isn’t so positive, just feel free to let me know but this is by no means an open debate on who is good and who is not. It is for an experiment i am doing that i cant quite tell you about yet. If it works, it will be fun.
I may list a bunch of others in a day or so and get your opinions on those, And i might add that your opinions have been very helpful.
Meanwhile, i have blogged about Jack and Jessie and Pain and a lot of aother tear-jerking stories.
I don’t like to write about mundane unless it if for pure entertainment. So, if you are follwoing, let me know what you wnat to hear from me…poignant stories, funney weird stuff, leadership ideas, creative ideas, stuff i found that you might not have, fun videos ….do you want me to stir up trouble ? In a fun kind of way. What???? How about excerpts from my next book. would you help me get it virally marketed? Do you want to hear miracle stories about africa? I got stuff in my head just ready to bust out….but only so much room in order to do a shorter blog post than this.
I could give you weird pictures.
I could ask you to come to Bigstuf Camps next summer, or book our African Childrens Choir. or come to CAtalyst. in October…its gonna be great. I just want to make sure if i am writing then it is something that people want to read. Meanwhile here is a bizarre older video for you just to entertain you, but i am warning you….i am gonna start making you cry unless you tell me different.
Meanwhile…smile at this.

17000 people came to Bigstuf this summer. No way to explain how God did what he did. But….he used a great team of people to do it….here are some…this team rocked the stage and the hearts of tons.

So now and then we’ll give you some relief from the unbelievable stuff God is doing and just enertain you with the unbelievable stuff i get to do. A while back on July 4th , I came out at Northpoint Church and helped Andy to know that i didn’t feel like we had quite gone far enough in our mentioning of the anniversary of our nation’s independence. July 4 is here again so…If you have nothing else important to do , you should watch it.

So Miley and Mandi have this blog and they are having a dance-off, and more than a million people are watching it on Youtube. That’s amazing!
It’s even more amazing that Jack got new arms and that 24 Orphans from Kenya are singing about hope, and that 18,000 kids are going to camp and getting involved in what God is doing around the world.
When you start a blog and it’s less than a week old, you want to make sure that it is worth your time and the readers time. Otherwise it’s a waste of time. I don’t want either of us to waste time. So, I’ll remind you if you are new here to watch jacks story, to check out the choir, to get involved in a word contest and let me send you free stuff…and know that my main purpose here is to inspire you with good stories, or entertain you with weird stuff. jack has surgery on his other arm on Tuesday so i will keep you up to date on that.
Meanwhile, for your entertainment pleasure. Here is a video we did at Northpoint a while back. It started off innocent enough…

The night air was heavy. You could barely see the street lamps, especially the ones 13 miles away. Just a few of the townsfolk were out that night, and those seemed to walk briskly toward their appointed destinations. And even though the small town had no sidewalks, you could hear the footsteps echo as though they were walking on hollow boards. By nine that evening it seemed like a ghost town and the wind whispered between the buildings of the main streets sounding like a demon in a Charles Schultz movie. One lone figure cast a shadow down 37th street. The shadow was clear even though there were no lights to cause it to exist. Had you been there, you would have recognized the outline of that shadow as a tall man, with a trench coat and hat, and as he moved you would have seen a slight limp as he favored his right leg. As he hobbled down the deserted barren street, he seemed to glide (with a limp like smoothness) as he turned and entered the only building whose lights were still on.
He immediately realized something wasn’t right. The room, although well lit by gas lanterns surrounding the room, was completely dark, except for where the light was. It reminded him of the church he grew up in. As he glanced at the floor he saw footprints. It had rained earlier that day, and the mud tracks were, from his experienced eyes, about a size 10 1/2 D. He followed the tracks across the living room, down a long narrow hallway, and into a dresser drawer. He cautiously opened the drawer. Two pair of socks, one black, one orange and gray striped. Underneath the socks next to two books, one by Tom Selleck and one by Franis Chan, was a macbook air. He spent most of the evening dog earing pages in the Selleck book and then picked up the computer. As he opened it, the eerie light from the screen showed the man’s tired green eyes. But those same green eyes, one red from lack of sleep and one that reminds you of sheepdog, opened wide as they read the screen content.
It was a note from a friend that said, “be sure, as you start your blog to “learn the rhythm of your audience.” Never post more than two serious ideas in a row. People want to laugh. He thought for a moment. “Maybe i should write a mysterious novel with no point whatsoever” Would people respond? Do they even care? What did he mean by ” the room reminded him of the church he grew up in”? Is this some kind of theological statement? Didn’t Charles Schultz write peanuts and Charlie Brown? What is going on here?
At that moment all the lights in the city came on …and it was completely dark.

Just a quick post today with my first video. I did this national rally for the chick fil a folks back in the spring.

I hosted the rally along with the bigstuf band and jon williams. They wanted their rally to be more than just talking heads and teaching so we decided to “ehnhance” it. I was totally impressed with Truitt and the whole staff of CFA because they are not ashamed to talk about their faith boldly to all of their employees.

Truitt was fun when i interviewed him. I may show you that interview on one of the posts. But meanwhile. As i said before, this is gonna be a diverse blog. Sometimes in depth issues…sometimes….eat mor chikn videos. Enjoy.

Hope i know how to embed this thing on here.
