Blogging is an interesting thing because it connects a lot of people around the world to see and experience everything from the mundane pieces of our lives to our political views and, as i have mentioned here often, the uncanny stories of God. One of the intersections of life for me to see God has been through a young girl named Jessie. If you haven’t seen her video, please go back and view it today. I admit I usually have no clue truthfully about God’s will for our lives and why life evolves the way it does, but i do know many of the pieces of God’s puzzle when i see them and i have no doubt that even though pain and suffering are weird and oftentimes senseless from our perspective, that God is always at work and we have the opportunity to be a megaphone for him especially in the times of trials.
Today Jessie is in the hospital struggling with kidney failure and lungs that don’t want to cooperate.
My request is that all who read this today stop for a few minutes and intercede for jessie and her family. This has been a long battle and they are not giving up on what God might want to still do thru his valiant young warrior here on this turf. Our prayers are that he would miraculously intervene and put his healing hand on her body and give life and breath to this incredible young lady of faith.
If you want, i will pass any of your written prayers on to her family from here.
Thanks for being part of a family and letting a bizarre cultural piece of our lives called blogging, bring us together for a cause and task and prayer much bigger than this internet.

Father i pray that you would intervene and put your healing touch on jessie and continue to use her life as a living testimony for many years to come of the power of God in a persons life.

I wouldn’t call this a prayer, but I wouldn’t mind you sharing this with Jessie.

A few weeks ago, I stumbled on your blog, and the video of Jessie telling her story. I was so encouraged by her words, her honest, and the work God was doing through her, that I shared it with my wife and four young boys (7-13). My wife and I cried together as we were encouraged together. We’ve spoken about what God has been able to do for and through Jessie several times since then.

I’ve prayed for her, and will be praying for her.

Well blogs are supposed to be about words but I cannot think of any that even come close to being worthy. How humbling it is to see someone who learned to love God so completely in such a short period of time and in difficult circumstances. Know that prayers are coming from here as well as I am certain all corners of this earth

    Jessie,

I just wanted to let you know that I have been following the blog WHAT IF? and have been praying that God would touch your body and give you a complete since of peace. My prayers are always that God will is done, but the Bible also teaches us that we have not because we ask not, so I am asking God to preform a miracle in your life that others may be blessed and that He would receive the praise and Kingdom growth would come from it! In good and weak times, know that you are in our prayers even though we have never met.

Holy Father, Healer, Comforter, Peacemaker… Daddy, it is with utter humbleness that I come before your throne on behalf you your daughter, your princess, Jessie Garren. I know how sad you are watching her suffer. I know you are sad because you love her with your very being. You also know how BIG you are God. We don’t understand your ways, but we trust you God because you are BIG. As much as you are saddened, I know you proud you are watching Jessie’s faith and the faith of her family as they willingly allow you to work through them to reach so many people with the love of God. Just now, I’m asking in the name of your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, place your hand upon Jessie and bring your healing. A miracle of love. Wrap her and her family in your Daddy Arms and squeeze them tight. May your unfailing love save many more lives through the story of Jessie Garren. May your Amazing Love heal Jessie Garren. God you are it, all her family has. Allow those around them to be an extension of your arms to love on them. In the precious, healing name of Jesus Christ.

I visited with the Garren family yesterday, and it was a blessing to be able to go into the room and talk with them. There faith has been such an inspiration to me, and their story has and continues to touch so many families it is unfathomable. I pray for the greatest of miracles, and want the family to know that hope will never be lost. Jessie is so strong and if anyone could pull through this, it’s certainly her. I wish the Garrens all the strength and hope in the world and want them to never forget that with faith, anything is possible. I love you guys.
    Strength to you all,
    Adrienne Dalton

All who knew Jessie loved her and knew of her love for Jesus. She is already missed by so many. She has a caringbridge site where anyone can leave a note for the family. They read each of these and treasure them greatly. If Jessie has touched your life in some way please share it with the family through the caringbridge site. She is a Mighty Princess Warrior who fought the good fight and now is being rewarded as a good a faithful servant

Jessie is now in a better place where she will never suffer yet she will do the opposite, become well again and live forever with our savior. I pray for her family and friends for they have lost a girl who has changed many lives through her suffering, including my life. I will forever remember Jessie and knowing she had conquered so much which will keep me going in many things I do in my life.

We only knew Jessie for a short time at Brevard Community Church. She was such a blessing to us and such a testimony. She is missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
