Andy Stanley has by far been the most influential preacher in our church’s life. We r an inner city church plant targeting young adults. We play Andy’s sermons about 4 times a year. They always get a fantastic response. I would love to launch a church just playing his DVD’s (and a few others).

Hybels, Driscoll, Giglio, Kyle Idleman, and John Ortberg are also very good.

So I think that Rob Bell is amazing because of his “conversationalism” in his writing and speaking…But then again, Louie Giglio changed my life. He obviously has a heart for young people. Bell has a heart for all people. Osteen has a positive attitude that changes people’s perspective and is more reaching adults probably because he’s a TV church and writes best selling books and seems more corporate kind of. Thats all I got.

I don’t know if they’re together in what they say, but I think they all generally address something different within addressing the same thing: The love of Jesus Christ.

ex: bell poses questions and plants seeds for thought, giglio shares experiences and shows by example, osteen brings an attitude and definition?

Guys I can’t get enough of: Francis Chan, Louie Giglio, Steve Furick. I think the common theme with each of them is they seem to be real and have an intense passion for God. I’m sure their are “better speakers” but these 3 bring the real deal, you know them already so you know what im talking about. c/ya bro dustin

I love Andy, Bill, and Craig. They are not only great communicators in their own unique ways, but are incredible leaders as well. These three stand out to me!

Stanley - what can you say? amazing
Giglio - caffeine addict?
Rob Bell - love his social focus
Warren - haven’t listened to his sermons but his interviews (e.g. Catalyst) are quite interesting. doesn’t come across as the stereotypical megachurch preacher
Shane Claiborne - I like that he makes so many people uncomfortable. That’s a good thing.
Francis Chan
Dave Ramsey - less of a fan on the radio show, he’s better from the pulpit

love ya man (sounds weird since we’ve never actually met… maybe i should stop now). love bigstuf. love the 410 bridge. more than that, love your heart in the midst of all that.

i feel like i might be getting ready to take a big bite into a delicious, spanish sardine only to find that there is a 6/0 hook inside of it… only to be mounted on the wall in uncle willy’s montana cabin above the fireplace. i want to participate but lack the grammatical prowess to provide an adequate response.
